Seasonal Plant Dyeing
1.Cloth selection
You choose the item you want to dye from the cloth we are preparing at the studio.
2. Aperture
Prepare to make a pattern of original design using marbles and rubber bands on fabric. Those who wants to have plain, we don't need this process.
3. Dyeing
Wet the cloth in water and squeeze. Warm the dye solution extracted from the seasonal plants to 60 degrees in advance. Soak the cloth in warm dye solution and move it for 15 minutes, let dye penetrate into cloth.
4. Washing with water
Wash off extra dye attached to cloth.
5. Mordant
Soak the cloth after washing with water for mordant solution (Liquid for coloring and color stopping) and move for 15 minutes.
6. Washing with water
Wash off extra mordant solution attached to cloth.
7. Dyeing
Again, put it on the dyeing solution for the finish. At this time, the longer the dyeing time, it becomes darker than the color stained with step 3. Please pull up as the color you preferred.
8.Washing with water
Wash off extra dye attached to cloth 3-5 times until water becomes transparent.
9.Dry
ang outside and dry. Depending on the weather, you may not dry within the scheduled time, so please take it home and let it dry at home.

Indigo Leaf Dyeing
1.Cloth selection

3. Making dye solution
We harvest indigo entering the garden of Atelier Aiakane. Wash the harvested leaves well with water, and separate them into leaves and stems. Then, rubbing the leaves and water on the mixer, and extract the indigo dye.
4. Dyeing
Wet the cloth in water and squeeze. Warm the dye solution extracted from the seasonal plants to 60 degrees in advance. Soak the cloth in warm dye solution and move it for 15 minutes, let dye penetrate into cloth.
5. Coloring
Remove the fabric from the dyeing solution, and squeeze and dry for about 15 minutes. The green cloth will change to sky blue with the power of the air.
6.Washing with water
Wash off extra dye attached to cloth 3-5 times until water becomes transparent.
7.Dry
ang outside and dry. Depending on the weather, you may not dry within the scheduled time, so please take it home and let it dry at home.

Precipitate Indigo Dyeing
1.Cloth selection

3.Dyeing
Attach the fabric to dye solution. Move the cloth in the liquid for about 5 minutes, let the dye penetrate into the cloth.
4.Coloring
Remove the fabric from the dyeing solution, and squeeze and dry it outside. The green cloth will change to dark blue with the power of the air.
5.Repeat dyeing
By repeating 3 and 4 as you like, the blue color will become even deeper color. * Even if you repeat it over again, the price will not change. The photograph is the fabric with dyed twice.
